As usual, I’m late to the game, but made it eventually. Inktober is a weekly version of Inktober, so instead of a new prompt magically appearing every day, one magically appears every week.

I haven’t quite caught up but am pottering around with the prompts so far. Like during Inktober 2019, I’m hoping to glean inspiration for some new paintings and drawings from these new prompts.

The first prompt of this truly dire year was ‘Flight’…

Inktober52 Prompt 1 – Flight

Inktober 2019 – Day 16 ‘Wild’

Another very short and simple one for today! I couldn’t find my pink Lamy fountain pen which I had intended to use, so had to use my Lamy yellow writing pen instead, which was was a tad irksome! They are both identical except for the colour, but you know, still irksome!

Inktober 2019 – Day 14 ‘Overgrown’

The inspiration for todays pic was pretty easy. All I had to do was look out of the window to the back garden which is well and truly overgrown! It’s actually very lovely in its wild way and is visited by an abundance of birds, bats, hedgehogs, and probably a whole lot that we’re not aware of!

I really enjoyed doing this one and thought drawing it mainly in sepia would give it a general oldish, neglected feel. I also wanted an excuse to use my Derwent sepia Graphik pens. The rest is done using Derwent Intense pencils (Baked Earth, Bark and Ink Black.)

Inktober 2019 – Day 12 ‘Dragon’

I’ve been looking forward to doing today’s prompt. I was going to go for a scary, fierce impressive Dragon, but this is what happened!
